My Go-To Makeup For Dewy Fresh Skin

Effortless beauty is all in the skin. What I like about a dewy fresh finish is that to the untrained eye it looks like your natural skin. I love makeup trickery, us avid beauty lovers know better and most of the time can spot the difference between being legitimately au naturel and makeups version of 'natural'.

These are the products I use when I want to glow up and look radiant.
Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer: The most hydrating primer ever. When I go through phases of my skin looking dull I bust this out and it helps in making me look healthy again. If you have dry skin this will be your best friend.

Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer: Of all my products (and there's quite a lot!) this is the cream of the crop when it comes to a natural base. This gives such a refreshing tint to your face and leaves a finish which makes it look like you've just applied moisturizer. It's a light coverage but evens out my skin tone. I think this would be perfect for meeting an ex cause it would make them go 'gosh, who is giving them that glow?!'...they don't have to know the 'glow' is a work of makeup ;)

Nars Copacabana liquid illuminator: Another important factor in achieving dewy skin is avoiding powder products as they matte-ify your skin. This is lovely in illuminating your skin cause it's so damn glowy and doesn't contain chunky glitters. I usually apply this on my nose, cupids bow, and cheekbones. I also add it into some foundations when I want them to appear more illuminating. A little goes a LONG way with this so it's definitely worth the investment.

MAC Fix+ Spray: This mist is lovely to spray once you've applied all your base makeup. Particularly if you have used some powder products it helps take away any matte places. When i'm about to leave the house and walk out the door i'll give myself a quick spritz of this to finish off my makeup.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: Now...unfortunately dewy makeup doesn't last as long as matte makeup. I know..I sucks but sadly it can't exactly be avoided UNLESS you seal it all in with a makeup setting spray. The MAC Fix+ is a finishing spray which helps everything look flawless but the All Nighter Setting Spray sets your makeup to give it more longevity. So if you're going to be out and about for awhile then this spray will help set your makeup without mattifying it like a powder would.

So those are my little tips and tricks on how I achieve a nice dewy look. Do you guys have any products that help achieve this??

Holly xx
